Leadership at Webster UCC
Music Director - Originally from Baltimore County, Gwen has been a member of Webster Church for more than 30 years. In that time she has enjoyed singing with the choir and periodically acting as Choir Director and Music Director, the position she holds today. She is a retired Special Educator who worked at Havre de Grace Elementary School for nearly 20 years, and the owner of Gifts by Gwen, a craft company specializing in needlework of all kinds.
Treasurer - Graham Silsby has been a member of Webster United Church of Christ sincecoming to the area in 1967. he has served in most positions at Webster Church as needed, and is currently also on the Board of Trustees. Mr. Silsby has a Bachelor Degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering and is retired from the Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground where he worked as a Research Mechanical Engineer for most of his career.
Directors of Christian Education - Heidi Pensell and Elizabeth Zader co-chair the Christian Education Ministry. They select the curriculum for our young people, often participate in the Children’s' sermon during services and help children fully engage in the life and rites of the Church. They also organize nursery services for parents who want to enjoy Sunday service in the sanctuary. And fun events for the children are always on their agenda.
Moderator - Ann Helton Serves as Moderator of Webster Church and in that capacity she acts as the chief executive of the Church and presides at all meetings of the Congregation and the Board. Ann, and her husband Art, are active in stewardship and fund-raising efforts, also, she is currently President of the CASA (Court-appointed Special Advocate) Board for the Circuit Court and is Past-President of the Harford Land Trust. Ann and Art have a small farm where they raise sheep and enjoy their five children and six grandchildren.
Clerk - Doris Lyttle is a retired teacher who likes to read, spend time with her grandchildren,family and friends, research genealogy, and travel with her husband. An active member of Webster Church in many different roles, and a person with a positive and caring attitude.

These passages flood my heart as I live my life seeking and serving God’s will. The Reverend Audrey C. Price is the Interim Pastor at Webster Congregational Christian Church in Havre de Grace, MD. Rev. Price is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and has lived in the Washington DC metropolitan area for over 20 years so in some ways, Northern Virginia feels like her hometown.
Pastor Audrey possesses a breadth and depth of experience as a Christian Educator in the local church having served in diverse settings and several denominations.
Pastor Audrey’s formation in ministry commenced at First Baptist Church of Vienna in Vienna, VA. where she served as an Associate Minister and eventually as the Director of Christian Education (DCE). Pastor Audrey joined Covenant Baptist Church in August 2006 serving as the Minister of Christian Education. She ordained in American Baptist Churches USA on November 10, 2007 and three years late, in November 2010, Rev. Price became an ordained minister in the Potomac Association of the Central Atlantic Conference of the United Church of Christ (UCC) denomination. In the UCC, she is a certified UCC Polity teacher and current chair of the Committee on Church and Ministry in the Potomac Association.
Rev. Audrey Price is a Ph.D. Candidate at The Catholic University of America (CUA) pursuing a doctorate in Systematic Theology with a concentration in Liberation Theology. Her dissertation topic is: Theological Aesthetics in the African American Anthropologies of Emilie Townes and Shawn Copeland.
Pastor Audrey’s vocational call is one of Pastoral Leader and Educator. She is adjunct faculty at Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington, D.C.) at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies (Arlington, VA).
